On the night she is about to leave her marriage of many years, Elena’s plans are thwarted by technology or fate or God (if her mother had anything to do with it). Now Sam is in a coma and suddenly Elena has an awful decision to make. The two bickering relatives who've come to comfort her aren’t making it any easier. (ICU) ponders free-will, fate, love, and how time binds us to each other, for better and for worse.
