Peter Wolf Allison Greagory"Early one morning, Peter opened the garden gate and walked out into the great, green meadow.” So begins the adventure of Peter, who with his friends Duck, Bird, and Cat, learns just how tempting-- and dangerous, a meadow can be. Beyond the gate of Grandfather’s house and deep in the woods lives a wolf. Of course Peter, a curious boy, has been warned of this by his protective grandfather. But Peter is not afraid of the wolf. Once the wolf eats his friend Duck, Peter decides something must be done. Supported by his friends Cat and Bird, Peter must rely on his smarts and bravery to capture the wolf, and his sense of friendship to save it.
